The Sinking City 2 Official Trailer Is Here
The first game was a janky but atmospheric gem. This sequel just said “hold my tentacles” and came out swinging with way better combat, visuals, and that delicious cosmic dread we’ve been craving.
I actually played and beat the original The Sinking City back when it dropped. It was a janky mess in some areas, but the atmosphere, the investigation, and those brain-melting puzzles had me hooked the whole way through. It was a genuinely nice puzzling experience wrapped in pure cosmic horror.
Now The Sinking City 2 is coming and it looks like they took everything good about the first one and turned it up to 11.
We’re back in the flooded, rotting streets of a 1920s city being swallowed by eldritch madness. The new trailers show way better combat, smoother movement, upgraded visuals, and even heavier Lovecraftian dread — dead bodies with tentacles bursting out, insane cults, and that constant feeling that reality is breaking apart.
The story this time follows someone trying to bring a loved one back from the dead through forbidden rituals while the entire city sinks deeper into madness. Classic Frogwares Lovecraft done properly
